PHF-2 combines very good processability and melt thermal stability, with excellent clarity, good melt strength, high tensile strength and low fibrillation tendency. PHF-2 applications include sheet extrusion for Solid Phase Pressure Forming (SPPF), high clarity thermoformed containers and slit-tapes. PHF-2 processing temperature is between 230° to 250°C. PHF-2 complies with FDA regulation 21CFR 177.1520 and with most international regulations concerning the use of Polypropylene in contact with food. Specific certificates are available upon request.
