TA 2343 HD contains black pigment and a crosslinking catalyst which will complete the Sioplas System when extruded with PEX-b compounds such as TA 1108 HD. TA 2343 HD contains additives which protect the finished product from long term degradation caused by oxidation, and heat. TA 2343 HD includes a high concentration of high purity carbon black, which results in UV protection when TA 2343 HD is added to the compound at 10%. Crosslinked TA 1108 HD has a combination of properties which result in tubing with excellent flexibility, superior mechanical and thermal performance, and outstanding aesthetics. TA 1108 HD is suitable for SDR 9 tubing applications in continuous service at operating conditions of 140°F (60°C) and 80 psi.
